The Akkad Center for Economic and Financial Studies held an economic symposium entitled (Economic Dimensions of the General Population Census in Iraq) at 4:00 pm on Friday, 12/20/2024, in the Tamkeen Company Hall. During the symposium, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi (President of the Middle Euphrates Technical University) and a member of the Center’s Board of Directors gave a lecture that addressed the most prominent expected impacts of the results of the general population census in Iraq 2024 on indicators of poverty, unemployment, economic development, and future development plans for various economic sectors. The session was moderated by Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Yasiri and attended by an elite group of professors and experts in the field of economics and financial management from academics and practitioners in the public and private sectors.
