Poverty Alleviation

Poverty alleviation is one of the main objectives of our center in monitoring and evaluating poverty reduction policies, and ensuring their integration into macroeconomic frameworks including the poverty reduction strategy; Strengthening national capacity, sustaining policy dialogue on poverty; Empowering the poor to improve their access to livelihood opportunities.

The primary aims of our research projects are to improve national development and poverty reduction efforts by ensuring they are environmentally sustainable; promoting wide-ranging international conventions and instruments and engaging with their public participation; and establishing a new ministry for tourism and the environment. It is clear that environmental concerns are now a priority for government because of these institutional developments.
