On the sidelines of the EEEU26 conference held from 23 to 25 September 2026, Bali, Indonesia, witnessed the conclusion of a cooperation and scientific research agreement between the “ACEFS” based in Iraq and the “International Center for Research and Development in Higher Education and Economic Cooperation” (IRCHEBC) based in Poland. The MoU was signed by the International Center for Economic and Financial Studies (ACEFS), while it was signed by Prof. Dr. Aqeel Hamza Al-Hasnawi.
The MoU stipulates the establishment of a joint framework for the development and implementation of research projects addressing contemporary issues in the fields of economics, finance, accounting, business administration, sustainable development, and entrepreneurship, in addition to publishing research papers in refereed and classified international scientific journals and journals.
The strategic cooperation also includes the organization of joint scientific and international conferences and seminars, and the implementation of specialized training programs targeting researchers, academics, and graduate students to develop their skills in scientific research methods, statistical analysis, and academic publishing. In addition, the two parties agreed to exchange experts and researchers to give lectures and participate in academic supervision, while cooperating in applying for international scholarships and research projects.
The MoU will be extended for three years, renewable, and specific coordinators from both sides will develop periodic implementation plans to follow up on joint research initiatives and activities.
